There is a particular kind of fertility care that disappears the moment a clinic grows past a single conscience. Files get handed off. Cycles get standardised. The face you met last month is on leave next month. GIFT IVF CENTRE was built as the deliberate opposite of that.
Dr. Anita Mani established the centre at Athani, Kochi in 2007 on a quiet conviction: that fertility medicine — among the most personal care there is — deserves to be practised by one doctor who knows the whole arc of a family's journey. Every consultation. Every retrieval. Every transfer. Every difficult conversation, when one is needed.
The laboratory is small on purpose. The technology is current — IVF, ICSI, IMSI, TESA, vitrification, operative endoscopy. The pace is not. And couples spending ₹2–4 lakhs on IVF deserve a doctor's website that reflects that standard. ഞങ്ങൾ ഒപ്പമുണ്ട്.
From a single diagnostic visit to a multi-cycle ART programme — every plan is written, costed, and walked through with both partners. Alternatives are always named.

The complete cycle — controlled ovarian stimulation, monitored retrieval, embryology in our own ART lab, and transfer with sustained luteal support.
A single, carefully selected sperm placed directly into each egg under the microscope. IMSI adds high-magnification morphology selection.
A first, low-intervention step — washed and concentrated sperm placed in the uterus at the optimal hour of ovulation.
Day-care retrieval directly from the testis or epididymis when ejaculate is unavailable. Paired with ICSI.

Vitrification for fertility preservation — for medical reasons, for surplus embryos in a fresh cycle, or for life timing.

Coordinated donor-egg, donor-sperm and surrogacy cycles, with full counselling and regulatory adherence to the ART (Regulation) Act, India.
A complete diagnostic workup — hormone panel, ovarian-reserve assessment (AMH, AFC), tubal patency, semen analysis, and where indicated, hysteroscopy or laparoscopy.
Diagnostic and operative laparoscopy & hysteroscopy — endometriosis excision, fibroid management, tubal surgery, adhesiolysis. Day-care where possible.
We do not outsource cycles to partner labs. Every retrieval, every fertilisation, every transfer is handled in-house at Athani, under conditions held to tight tolerance, and reviewed personally by Dr. Anita Mani. The technology is current; the pace is unhurried.
No two paths are the same — but every path follows roughly this rhythm, and every step is something we walk together.
An unhurried visit — or start with a WhatsApp message. Your story, your history, your questions. Forty-five minutes minimum.
Hormone panel, ovarian-reserve markers (AMH, AFC), tubal patency studies, semen analysis. Imaging where needed.
A written, costed plan walked through with both partners. Alternatives are named. The lowest-intervention path that still works is the one we begin with.
Whether IUI, IVF, ICSI or a day-care laparoscopy — performed and supervised by Dr. Mani personally. No locum, no rotation.
First-trimester scanning here. Then either continued shared-care through delivery, or warm handover to your chosen obstetrician with full records.
A six-week visit. Sometimes a thank-you photograph for the wall. Sometimes a conversation about the next one.
Dr. Anita Mani founded GIFT IVF CENTRE on a single, stubborn idea — that fertility care should be unhurried, owned by one doctor across the full arc of a family's journey, and answerable to no roster except the patient in front of her.
Her practice in Athani, Kochi has been home to the centre's ART laboratory since 2007. Every retrieval, every transfer, every difficult conversation happens under her personal supervision. Eighteen years without that changing.

GIFT IVF brought the light back into our lives. Dr. Mani held our hand through every step — we never once felt like just another case.
After three failed cycles at a large hospital, we came to Dr. Mani. She listened for a full hour at the first visit — no hurry, no clipboard. We have a daughter now.
We came from the Gulf specifically because of her reputation. The WhatsApp consultation made it so easy to start before we even landed in Kerala.
What stays with me is how she explained every result, every decision, honestly and without hurry. The honesty was its own kindness.
If your question isn't here, it deserves a longer reply. WhatsApp us or book a first visit — we will spend the time.
From the first day of stimulation to the pregnancy test is about four to six weeks. Add two to three weeks before that for the planning visit and baseline scans. We do not rush the preparation phase — it is the part of the cycle that most affects the outcome.
Success in IVF is meaningfully different for every couple — age, ovarian reserve, cause of infertility, sperm parameters and uterine factors all reset the number. Dr. Mani will walk you through realistic per-cycle and cumulative odds for your specific situation during the planning visit. We do not publish a single headline number because no headline number is honest.
Costs vary by treatment (IUI is the most affordable; IVF with ICSI sits in the ₹1.5–3 lakh range for a full cycle; donor and surrogacy programmes are more involved). We hand you a fully itemised, written estimate at your planning visit. Staged-payment plans and EMI through partnered card programmes are available. Please ask.
Bring any prior reports — semen analyses, hormone tests, scans, prescriptions, operation notes. You may also WhatsApp us your reports before the visit so Dr. Mani can review them in advance. Come together if possible — we meet both partners on the first visit.
Yes — WhatsApp is our preferred first contact. Message Dr. Mani's clinic directly at +91 97454 94804. You'll reach clinic staff, not a call centre. Share your history, ask your questions, or simply say you'd like a first appointment. We typically respond within a few hours.
Yes. GIFT IVF CENTRE is owner-doctor led by design. Every consultation, every retrieval, every transfer, every laparoscopy is performed and supervised by Dr. Mani personally. There is no rotating roster. That has been true since 2007.
We sit down afterwards — not on the phone, in person — and review every step honestly. Sometimes the answer is to adjust the protocol; sometimes it is to investigate further; sometimes it is to consider a different pathway. The next step is always a shared decision.
Yes — a significant part of our practice is couples from across Kerala, the Gulf, and South India. We coordinate visit clustering so most monitoring scans can happen in a focused 10 — 14 day window. WhatsApp us your situation and we will plan around your travel.
The fastest way to start is a WhatsApp message to Dr. Mani's clinic. You'll reach clinic staff directly, not a call centre.
